Experienced one of my best running experiences ever.  Am visiting my hometown in central Florida to celebrate my parents retirement before they move.  Headed out in the morning and was hit with nostalgia- humidity, smells of fresh cut grass, landmarks representing significant moments in my life, etc.  It was awesome!  45-minute run turned into just over 2 hours.  Very moderate pace, but really able to soak things in (while being soaked).  15 miles total.

Thanks for that.....I feel the best I have....ever. It amazes me also, because every day, I feel like I could run 15 miles! Ever since I took your advice on upping my mileage and running 6 days a week, I see an incredible improvement in my endurance. Now I am starting to concentrate on strength by doing some good quality hill work. I plan on switching to speed work more near the end of the summer, and hopefully, I can get a BQ in Detroit in October!

Thanks again.

Nice Work. Sometimes you run and feel so great that you don't want to stop. It's a great feeling. Good work and mileage this week.

God's got our live in control that's what I try to remember.

That's what I'm taking about! The mind has plenty to reflect on when a run turns into child's play.

Thanks folks! I could have written 2 pages if I had time. I've really been trying to drink in the family time and then reflect while running.
