I decided that when I got home from work that I needed to get my butt on the elliptical and get a good workout done for the day so thats what I did. I started out on the ellitpical 10 minute warm up and the 25 minutes of intervals with the last 12 minutes at 100 on the RPM, HR was at 155 to 160 at this point for a total of 30 minutes. After that I did program number 5, which is 30 minutes and the resistance peaks at 7 two times during the 30 minutes, HR was at 150 and 160 during this session and then I finished up with another 10 minutes at an easy comfortable pace for a grand total of 70 minutes on the elliptical. I then did some strecthing and I jumped on the treadmill for 1 mile at a 9:30 pace just to test out the achillies and it felt pretty darn good. the heel lift seem to help and I felt like I could have done more but I didn't. My doctor wants me to stay with the elliptical for awhile but he said I could run 1 to 2 miles on the treadmill if the pain stayed at a 1 or a 2 and that is what it was today, but he wants the pace to be easy. I finished up with some leg raises, 3 sets on each leg.

I feel pretty good about the workout, I just have to stay with it mentally until I get back out on the road.

See later.

Happy to see you were able to get to the doc and get a game plan. I hope everything can begin to improve from here on out.
