No running today as my calf strain is in full swing! OUCH! I consider myself a work in progress, kind of like a priceless painting that takes years to complete:)  Sometimes I wonder if I will ever reach my goals or will I just some day fade into the sunset and never be heard of again, very frustrating... 10 steps forward and then 15 steps back, in other words I feel like I'm losing ground not gaining! Oh well, I'll just keep pushing forward and hoping for the best, my foot and back seem to be improving so I guess thats a good thing, thier not 100% by any means but they are difinitely improving.

See you tomorrow.

So sorry you've been having such trouble the last while Clay. I'm curious have you looked into non-running factors to see if they play a role? Stuff like work/life stress, not enough sleep, bad diet, etc? One thing I've noticed as I've gotten older is that healthy diet seems to be much more important than it used to be.

Clay, I have another thought, picking up on Tom's direction. When I had PF, my dress shoes were causing the problem, sometimes you work shoes or kick around shoes play a big part in things. Good news, the calf thing will go away in a few days, hope your running keeps on the positive side.
