I'm still nursing my back and my strained calf, so no running again. My back is good at times and runable but the calf is still giving me some serious problems... I am heating and then stretching and then rolling it with the big foam roller and then icing after trying to get it to loosen up, but still no luck. This is really trying my patience. PM- I tried the elliptical after work just to test out the calf and I was able to do a little, 30 minutes at a moderate pace with a little resistance thrown in there for fun. The calf was a little uncomfortable but it didn't get any worse so I just went with it. After that I did my standard upper body workout and then some push-ups, I will try it again in the morning and see how the calf does and then I'll go from there.
