Oh HAPPY DAY!!! Guess who is back for a week? oh yeah baby! Becca! So, I found a sitter and met her at her sister's house in Draper for a run. We ran up to PRT then along the trail for a few miles and turned back. Man, it was hotter than I expected - we both wanted water, but all the fountains are turned off. We passed a school holding elections and we decided to go in, hoping that with voters in there we wouldn't be considered a safety risk. When we got back I didn't have time to chat, I had to go get baby for music class. But, we've got plans this week! Plenty of chat time. It was like we hadn't missed a beat. Same old chatting and fun. I missed Becca. Only problem was I ditched the Newtons for this run. My plan was to do the normal 10 with them and then add 6 or 8 with Becca. Well, baby wasn't very nice last night and had me up more times than I'd like to count. So, when the alarm went off I decided the 6 or 8 with Becca would be enough - I was going to sleep! I guess if I have an alternative, I won't wake up early :) Sad part is, once I got up and called them (and they called back) I couldn't really get back to sleep. It took a long time...with lots of guilt. Should've just gone. AP: 8:15 splits: 8:56, 8:42, 8:25, 8:10, 8:23, 7:54, 8:08, 8:08, 7:55, 7:48 Plan to do a 15ish mile ride this afternoon with a friend in my new ward boundaries that is a cyclist! I'm excited to have a workout buddy, and not be the only crazy one in the ward. She is doing her first tri in 2013, but has knee issues. So, she won't ever be a huge runner, but I'm still excited! 16 miles with Kristy on the Mtn View Corridor. Good times! I hope to be able to keep up with her next time :)
