Have fun running, keep fit, and fight middle age spread. Run consistently and injury free. Maintain a healthy balance between running and other life priorities. Encourage my ever-aging running buddies to keep running so we can continue to share runs on the trail instead of rocking chairs.

Blessed to be married to Karen for 30 years. We have six children (4 daughters/2 sons) ages 16 to 30, and one wonderful granddaughter.

Standard Tuesday morning run with Larry with a slight variation. I overslept and was a few minutes late getting out. In my rush, I started up 180 W. to 2000 N. (Monday's course) instead of up Main St. I realized my error before I got to 2000 N. and then had to run a couple of extra blocks up 2000 N. I caught up with Larry near the top of the hill and found out I had started before him. Oh well, we had a nice easy run together. Average pace was about 9:00 for me.

Paul - I've been watching your training for the last few weeks. Looks like you are at a steady 40 miles per week. I think you will benefit from bring it up a bit higher - try 45-50, and spread it as even as possible throughout the week.
