This was supposed to be easy...but it was actually hard. I was trying to keep my heart rate below 135 for the entire 15 mile run. I kept finding myself speeding up...then I would have to slow back down to bring my heart rate back to 135. I actually had to walk up a couple of hills for a short way because my heart rate went to 142. I like to run faster....! I'm going to run all my longer runs (10 miles) this week with the low heart rate and see what that does or how it feels. I was actually a little more sore than I thought I would be after this run...figure that? I have never run a long slow pace like this, I was supprised I had to go so slow to keep my heart rate at 135.
