I decided to do something different today so I went to the Gym with the intention to run a few fast miles. My legs were a little tired from yesterday so I only ran two fast miles out of 6 on the treadmill. I set it at 1% to simulate a road run. I had originally hoped to run 3 fast miles. As usual my knee hurt worse on the slow miles.
I realized that I now need some new shoes. I blew part of the sole off of my Mizuno Wave Riders. The roads I run on around my house are "chipped rock" so it is very rough and I'm sure hard on the soles. I probably don't help the wear on my shoes running like a three legged wildebeest.

1 Samuel 7:11-13
11 The men of Israel rushed out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, slaughtering them along the way to a point below Beth Kar. 12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.†13 So the Philistines were subdued and they stopped invading Israel’s territory. Throughout Samuel’s lifetime, the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines. |
