Short-Term Running Goals:

This year I am looking to race a bit more and hope to improve. I have started to train a bit differently using a more well rounded program. Including tempo and speed work (which up to this point I have slacked off on) Would like to be somewhere near the top of my A.G. it makes racing more fun.Also helping motivate people to become more active and enjoy getting out and enjoying all life has to offer.

 

 


 

Long-Term Running Goals:

have not really set long term goals just love the great benefits physically as well as mentally that have come with running and look to continue to grow and improve

 

Personal:

Married to an amazing woman who I get to enjoy living and loving life for all its worth. From our urban farm to exploring the backcountry. I have 2 boys who are about grown. My passion for running has not diminished over the years just evolved into an integral part of life like it always has been but a little different. Lucky for me Tiff puts up with my running obsession and doesn't complain too much.

10 easy this afternoon I really needed the break. Then back to work for a while. Feeling good to get something in between everything else

5 mile progressive today. I didnt have mich time so I opted for a bit more speed. Started out easy 8:23 then went 7:19,6:50 feeling pretty strong and trying to push fast but relaxed. closed it out with 6:38 and 6:22. Totals 5 miles @ 7:06 average

8 miles around the warehouse/ hood lol had a taste of all kinds of weather. Wind rain hail and a little sun. Felt refreshingly energized after. 8@ 7:35 pace with the last mile at 6:56

Was supposed to pace the AF half this morning but due to a crappy load at work that got refused at costco yesterday I had to skip the pacing gig which really bummed me out. Went out on the JRP after the delivery (11am) and got my 13 in. Ran into Rob Dulmyer(?spelling) so we ran together for a few miles, good to have company. It got pretty warm tho middle of the day and all plus I should have done a longer run oh well this was ok for now
