2 mile warm up. Felt like it was too long for a warmup.

On the test thing (I forgot what it's called) I got 1521 meters in 6 minutes. I think I could probably go even farther.

1 mile cool down. (half a mile barefoot warmup)

Did the dirt mile loops today. Ran there and felt pretty good. I stayed with the big boys for the first mile loop and then I just couldn't keep up. I kept a good steady pace behind them though. Feeling better than last year by far. (half a mile barefoot warmup)

Did the grass loops. This is my favorite run! I always can keep up with the team on them. I even lead sometimes. I felt really good today.... Except on the striders. I need to get my head in the game so that I can improve better than last year. That's my goal this year. Just to try my hardest and get the best times I can get. (half mile barefoot warmup)

Today we did 2 parkway loops, which by the end, ended up to be 6.7 miles. It was really tough for me. Especially since we had to do the harder pace up the hill! I didn't keep up with the group and was tempted to just do 1 loop because I was dying. I did not give up though. It was really tough, but I know that I just need to get over it and try my best. I couldn't stop thinking of that barney song "Look Both Ways When You Cross The Street". I kept on making different harmonies to it until it was basically a 10 piece choir haha! I haven't even watched barney for a long time! I learned from this run that it doesn't matter how fast you are or how good you are at running as long as you try your best and push yourself everyday. Nobody cares if you finish last. Just as long as you try your best and finish. (I also did half a mile barefoot warmup).

Today we drove to heritage park in coral canyon to do a 4 mile run. I went into it thinking that it would just be a nice easy 4 mile, but I had never done this run before. It was tough with all the hills. Hills are my worst weakness I think. I pretty much stayed with the group the whole time except at the end... I had to tie my shoe and we were about half a mile from the finish so no biggy. I thought it was tough because of the hills, but I felt good and accomplished afterwords. (half mile barefoot warmup)

I now have a goal! I need to start doing Saturday runs! If I don't next week, I will be disappointed.
