I ran 4/4/13
(Thursday). I had a back injury Saturday
and missed the Saturday 18 miler (was planning Sunday Half Marathon race in
place of that). Missed a Tuesday 7 miler and
Thursday 5 miler as well. Today I got out
there with Marc and was able to complete the scheduled ten miler in 1:32:08 @ 8:54/mile
pace. I have a 5 miler scheduled for
Sunday and then Tues, Wed, and Thursday has 4, 3, and 2 miles scheduled
respectively. Then the Sunday 50 mile
race!
That will conclude the sixteen week training program.
Of note, mile 7 through 10 average pace is 8:29/mile.
Thinking I can put together 50 miles next Sunday. We’ll see!!
