ran up the first major climb for the Squaw Peak 50 to calm my pre-race nerves a bit, since most of the course is new to me.  the trail was a bit muddy but i'll take that over dry and dusty.  the wildflowers are starting to bloom.  the course is going to be in perfect shape for race day. (june 1st)
