Personal:

Have been active my whole life, but turned my focus to running in 2006 after deciding to run a marathon.  I really enjoy the training aspect and staying healthy, but mileage has been on the decline over the past 3 years due to work commitments, so focus has turned away from races and more on just staying fit enough to still enjoy getting out.  Moved from Utah to Texas in October 2016 with my wife and 3 month old babe.

Really good run today!  Just kept the pace easy and enjoyed the run.  Today makes 21 days in a row of running!  A couple of days were only 4 mile trail runs, but still that's running.  I think this helped in building my base and now I'm gonna start takin it easy 1 day a week before the marathon.  Ran 100S and out to 189 to drop a water bottle, then back on the farm roads to 40.  Turned around @ River Rd and went back to 189, then down to 1200W and back on 100S.  Had to run a few laps on the Provo River trail to make it 20.

  20.07 in 2:27:35, avg. 7:21 per mile.

excellent run to cap off a solid 3 week block of training. you have definitely built a great base. now comes the honing part...just 4 weeks to go! :)

AHH, I can't wait!:)

do you have a goal time for TOU?

From allie on Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at 13:41:01 from 161.38.218.168

i will have a better idea on what i should expect at TOU once i get my last long run in. until that point, i'm not sure i have enough endurance to take me through a marathon :) for now i'm thinking 2:55, but if i can get some good results from my training in the next few weeks, sub 2:50 would be the ultimate goal.

what are you shooting for?

From Seth on Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at 21:24:19 from 199.188.28.8

Sub 3:00 is goal number 1, but I'm pretty confident I'll beat that, so 2:55 to 2:50 I think is really my main goal. I'm not totally sure right now what kinda pace I can hold, so will just go with how I feel come race day.
