| Big Workout, last one before TOU. Warmed up for 2 miles, and then did 6x1-mile with 2:00 recovery jog, on the Bear River Ranch out-and-back. Splits were 5:13, 5:07, 5:04, 5:05, 5:02, 4:51. Then 5-mile cooldown. Very positive workout. Averaged 6:25/mile for 14 miles. |

| Drove up to Left Hand Fork, and then ran up Blacksmith Fork to near the TOU start, and back. 14 miles total, averaged about 6:05/mile. The uphill felt great, but the downhill part not-so-much. I kind of wish the marathon ran backward, up the canyon. |
