Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

am - Big Workout, with Mike. Warmed up 4 miles on Power/Spring Creek Trails (west), then did 10x1km, with 75s recoveries.

Splits were (3:11, 3:08, 3:10, 3:10, 3:10), (3:01, 3:02, 3:00, 3:04, 2:59).

First 5 were net uphill, then turnaround, last 5 were net downhill...although more of a gradient than a true hill.

Felt really good, given that it was a little warm out, plus just 2 days after a 23-miler. Fitness is definitely setting in.

16 miles, total, averaged 6:26/mile.

pm - Altitude Run Club. 4.5 miles, average 7:37/mile.
