Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Quite cold this morning, thanks to the foggy soup of an inversion. Met Jon and Cody at the Planet Walk, and we headed for higher ground. Ran through Providence to Millville, up to the Millville bench. It was actually quite warmer up there, and we were out of the fog and got some sun. But unfortunately we had to eventually go back down, and it got chilly quite fast. Averaged 7:05/mile for the run.

Good run. I saw on the news last night that you guys had a bad inversion... they said the air quality was bad and that you shouldn't do any activities outside:)

Clyde, the air is bad here all winter. Right now I think it's red, but only a 3 on the scale of 5. It can get much, much worse. If we listened to the experts, we would never go running.

The "experts" are probably fat.

And slow.

I will be in Logan all next week. We should all get together and run (You, Jon, Cody, me). Let me know. I will be at the in-laws.

Logan - Jon is out of town, Cody is sick (for now), but I'm for a run any day. I live up in Smithfield now, but still work downtown Logan, so we can meet during a noon hour pretty much any day you want. Wednesday I'll be running some up-tempo miles, Friday (Christmas) I might go a little bit longer than normal, and Saturday will be a 15-miler. Other days will be "normal". Shoot me an email or blog message for when you want to go.
