Diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in June of 2008. Started taking Enbrel in March, 2009.

Run as much as I can, and race as well as I can. Make the most of however much time I have left as an able-bodied runner.

Yeah, it's amazing how much I hate getting on the track, but once the first interval in the bag, it's very invigorating. Definitely a good case of runners' high today.

Holy what the crap-a-roly? You ran a 4:56 mile at the end of a big workout? Wowzers! I would say you should do your workouts with me in the evenings for company, but I would not be keeping you company at these speeds! I would be more like a cheering squad from one lap behind! Cody will be jealous- I think he still has his sub-5 goal.

Jon - to be fair, it was a Medium Workout. I didn't do strides or a pre-workout tempo run, so I was pretty fresh.

Kory - I don't know what my fastest mile is. In college I ran a 3:58 1500m on two occasions. I'm not sure what that converts to. Probably 4:18-ish. At the Alta Peruvian 8K a couple years ago, I split a 4:08, but that was on an 8% downhill.
