Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Did a 10x2-minute fartlek today, with 1 minute recoveries on the North Logan Loop. I originally intended track intervals, but I just couldn't stand the thought of it when the time actually came. Started the workout after a 3 mile warmup, at the top of the hill by Aggie Village.

Cooled down afterward and did 4 or 5 strides.

Looking pretty speedy.

Those look like similar paces to our workout on that course last Sept. Looks like you are in good shape.

Yes, but the September workout was 5x4-minute, so not completely analogous. Logan and I did the exact same workout a few weeks before trials in 2007:

At first glance the paces look similar, but I was much stronger on uphills back then for some reason...and faster on the downhills too.
