Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Still disinterested in training. Well, I like reading about other peoples' training, but do not want to actually do it myself. I'm sure the mood will pass.

Is this more mood or injury/physically based?

From Paul Petersen on Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 19:36:19

Mostly mood. Although my body isn't trying to convince my mind otherwise. I can run, but it never feels that great.

From James on Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 20:20:38

See, I am in the mood to run but certain parts of my body really hate it right now.

From redrooster on Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 21:48:35

do you ever read the poor rooster's blog?

From Dave S on Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 21:52:33

Paul, Thanks for recomending Sarah. I went to her for a massage today and I think it really helped. I'm anxious to see how the next few days go.

On the rare occasion I drink, I DO remember to drink plenty of water. I hope you find a balance that works for you moodwise.

From wheakory on Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 22:56:29

Sleep is always good. I'm unmotivated to train but I'm still running just for fitness. It must be a trend right now for some runners. Be patient and train when the time feels right. Ask God to give you strength and wisdom and he will.

JamesM - lol, when I read your comment about dehydration in the morning that's just the first thing I thought of. Keep up the hydration. :-)

Dave - glad you got a good massage. Hope you did the full 2 hours.

Red - sure, I read your blog every day.

Kory - I think I just need some sunlight. Thanks for the encouragement.
