Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Power Trail to Spring Creek Trail to Poudre River Trail. Did 4 miles of tinman tempo, averaged 5:50/mile. Did then 20x1-minute fartlek, with 40s recoveries (basically glorified strides). Pace for the fartlek intervals were 4:55-5:05/mile. Ended up averaging 6:00/mile for the entire 11-mile run.

Ran home for lunch. 9.25 miles, averaged about 7:10/mile. It was snowing and blowing on the way back home, but I had the tailwind, and then the snow and wind quit while I was eating lunch, so I didn't have to deal with the consequences on the return trip. Talk about double-dipping.
