Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

AM - ran with Seth. It was threatening rain, so we did a little short out-and-back around town. Lo and behold, it began raining right at we got back to the house. Took a hiatus until the shower ended, then we did our second segment. Again, the rain started up once more when we were almost home. Saw an awesome double rainbow. The rainbow ended right at the Birch Creek Golf Course clubhouse, so that must be where the pot of gold is. 6 miles total, 7:35/mile average.

PM - caught a break in the rain. I took Seth for a few miles, then he nodded off, so I dumped him into bed and did the last 7 miles on my own. Felt good to be baby jogger free. Ran up Birch Creek Canyon a ways. The smell of the fresh, post-rain air was awesome along the trail. Good afternoon to be out, although I'm a bit tired. 10 miles, averaged 7:16/mile.

Hey Paul. Just curious, how tall are you and what is your racing weight? I think I'm your height, but not near the weight given the new photo. Great photo by the way. It's good to have both feet in the air, right?

Nice rain dodging. I bet Seth wanted you to go back out and find that pot of gold? Do you guys have the They Might Be Giant's Here Comes Science album for Seth? If not, you ought to pick it up. We saw a rainbow last week and my 6yo son started singing this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf33ueRXMzQ
