Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

I still use the 205 I got in 2008. I will shed tears when it dies.

I have the Garmin 310XT and it has been good... It really picks up the satellites quicker than my 305 did and it seems more accurate, Its also water proof so that is a plus.

Thanks, I'll definitely check out the 310xt.

Mysteriously (and happily) my 205 started working again. But I find it ominous that it went dead for a while; probably a bad sign that it could be in borrowed time. Hopefully it will last long enough for me to save up some money.

The 310xt has some nice features, but at $349, I love my Garmin 305 ... which is $128 on Amazon. I have had mine for 2 years with no problems, and just got another for my son.
