1K repeats today. Went on the treadmill because of the ice. 3.2 warm-up with strides. 6x1k @ 4:55 mile pace (so 3:04 1k) with 200 meters jog in between (including speed up and slow down of treadmill) hit them all but it was hurting by the end. Little over 2.5 mile cool down. Very happy with the workout.

Lunch: well this sucks. Made it 2 miles into my double no problem took a funny step on some ice and my right calf cramped. Its a simple knot but it makes it hars to walk. I was lucky enough to have had someone see it happen and he gave me a ride back, but ugh. I really hope its something light.

Sorry for the confusion; I should've put a colon in between the 200J for rest (2:00 jog). But, hey that makes your workout that much more impressive! Nice work. That's very short rest and great pace.

I can't believe how fast your fitness is coming along. You are going to kill it next year!

Gonna be fighting off Steve.

If you are fighting me off in a few months than I will be doing better than I hoped to be doing. You are way ahead of me in your training. Great workout. I can't imagine doing a workout like that on a treadmill, way to go!

I'm glad that we can motivate each other to get the work done.

what's the update on the calf? Is it gonna be alright?

From Dave Olson on Wed, Dec 11, 2013 at 10:53:30 from 98.202.58.72

Got a full lower body massage last night from Sariah. Feel much better. Calf is still a little tight but I will be running this afternoon in Las Vegas. Much warmer and I will be going slower because I will be doing my run with Kayla. Going to push my Tempo to Friday, but otherwise just a calf cramp no strain or tear. Should be good to go no worse for wear in a couple days.

That's good I'm glad it's nothing serious.
