There were about 100-150 runners. After a half mile I had worked my way up to fourth place with first place way ahead and second and third just ahead of me. At about a mile the course turns and the guy in first didn't. I was then passed the other two guys and I was in first place. But it wasn't to last as the clearly faster runner that took the wrong turn recovered and passed me with about a half mile to go.
Mile times 6:36, 6:27, with the last .93 in a mile average of 6:10.
