Morning run with the Tom & the Spanish Fork runners & Paul & Kerry, cloudy, Temps 45-50.

It was Tom's birthday suprise breakfast after the run that Kim was hosting.  It was great to see the excited Spanish Fork runners at 6AM in the dark.  Runners are crazy.  Now I know why Tom always gets chicked on his morning runs because Jamie & Michelle are darn fast.  For me I had 2 highlights of the run.  One of them was when Tom & myself ran some 7:30 miles.  I never thought I'd see the day when Tom could kick out some fast miles where I felt I was getting a good workout.  The other highlight was having the female duo of M&J lead the way in front of about 10 men.

Breakfast at Kim's was great.  I ate enough food to keep me going tell dinner.

On the way home from Tom & Kim's I saw our wards Turkey Bowl going on.  I stopped and played for an hour.  I didn't have quite the speed as normal.  Wonder why?  My back started aching just a little near the end of the run.  Hoping it will go away totally soon.

No Idea how fast we ran.

Terry

I am so glad you made the 45 minute trek to get down here for the run and the breakfast! Thanks for going the "extra miles" for your buddy Tom!

Tom is having an afternoon snooze so I am checking out everyone's blog while I wait for him to wake up. We are going out for his birthday dinner. He is wanting to go to Red Lobster. Can you believe I have never been there before!? Yuck on the sea food! But I will go there tonight, I'm sure they have something there I can like. I always wished I liked fish instead of chocolate, but it's just not going to happen in this life! Now that I've written a chapter on your blog I will move on. Thanks again, you are a good friend!

Hey Terry what a great running day and birthday when I get to have so many good friends who also run come down to SF to celebrate another year of my geezerness.

Quite the thrill for me to actually be able to hang with my long time running mentor and idol for more than a 1/2 mile. Just wish you and Taunia lived a little closer so we could go do this more often.

Hey thanks for being such a great friend over the years.
