Bear Canyon Campgound, morning run, no wind, temp 40-50

Went up a pretty step canyon trail from the campgound that connects up to Nebo Loop road.  Then I took the road back to camp.  The sign said it was a 3 mile trail to the Nebo loop road but it took me 48 minutes, I did take a few short walk breaks but still 48 minutes seems more than 3 miles.  Need a GPS watch.

Approx. Miles 12, Time 2 hours 1minute.

Hope you had a nice camp Terry. It wasn't quite the same down in Ephraim at the 5K with a Bean or 2 in the race. Wouldn't you know the one year you don't come down that the Blauers decide to show up. Bob and most of his family and Lucy and most her family ran the 5K and I had a good chat with Bob. He was trying to sell me on running the Bryce Canyon 1/2 marathon, even offered his house to stay at. He wasn't sure when it is but was thinking July. Sounds like it could be fun, I'm hoping it's on a date that works with the schedule. I think you should come run it too Terry. You could leave your car at my house then we could drive down to Bob's and mooch off him for the weekend and reminisce about the glory days.

Oh BTW I think you would have won the 5K this year as I don't think there were any young speedsters. But also this year for the 1st time they also had a 10K race so I decided to run it (see my blog for report) and got 4th, I think you might have won it also. There were only 15-20 runners doing the 10K, about 30-45 did the 5K.
