So this was a fun race.  It was in the American River canyon in Auburn, CA. It was 10 miles of running up and down the canyon. It was very hard. I wore my racing flats without even thinking about running on muddy trails with them. I am happy with my time on such a hilly course; there was no flat ground at all. Hopefully no one will read this post because sadly I got 2nd overall (1st overall male) which means a girl beat me but she is a Kenyan that is a aspiring olympian and she only beat me by 3 seconds.
