Hello from Singapore!  First of all, a 20 hour flight is no joke.  Second of all, its HOT.  Scratch that, its HUMID.  So ridiculously humid.  So ridiculously terribly humid that you are dripping sweat the instant you are outside.  So this morning's run was hard.  I wanted to stop after 2 but ended up doing 5.42, miraculously, which took a full hour to do.

PS - If you haven't already, you must read The Hunger Games.  Read it on the way here and am now obsessed.  Reminded me of The Giver.

I read the Hunger Games a couple months ago! I was surprised how much I liked them and how addicting they were, especially b/c I didn't consider them my kind of books...would you recommend the Giver too? I should probably read it!

I loved The Hunger Games and The Giver is exactly what it reminded me off too... In fact when I finished HG I went and re-read The Giver. Didn't enjoy the 2nd two in the series as much though...

Have you read the other two books in the Giver series? Gathering Blue and Messenger?

That's a bummer about the next Hunger Games books - I'm sure I'll still read them though!

I really liked the other two Hunger Games books! You should definitely read them.

I haven't read the 2nd two in the Giver series, but now I am going to go get them from the library to read on my commute! Thanks! Also, they 2nd Hunger Games are good and worth the read, I just really liked the first a lot better. Have fun with them!

I loved the Giver! I have no idea there was a series. I need to pick those up. and add the Hunger Games.

My friends got me into the Vamp books. I read the Twilight series (they were good just got tired of the teenage love angst after a while) Now I"m on another series called the Sookie Stackhouse (TrueBlood on HBO-never watched it) series. It is pretty good if you like vamp, weres, witches etc...and I think I like this series. I just started reading the Evolution of Calpurnia Tate.
