A million laps around the dog park, probably 6 laps? Pretty repetitive. Took a gu around 7 which seemed to help a lot. Also had a water/gatorade mix I took with me and planted, wearing that hydration belt when the bottle is full just feels SO uncomfortable.

I'm going to run the Seattle RnR too. Good luck with your training!

Don't worry, you will almost definitely run faster in a race than in just regular training. There will be other people around and your mind will be set on hitting that goal.

Thanks!

I wonder what is the average decrease you can run in races versus your training pace (that doesn't almost kill you). :30-1:00 min/mile lower?

I'm no expert, but I'm sure that you can get the times you want with the current training you are doing. My average training pace before SGM was 8:15-8:30 and I averaged about 7:10 for the first 17-18 miles.
