| Awesome run today at Daniels Park! It was cold, and my throat hurt a bit, but besides that I felt really good. This is the longest run I have done in a while, and it reminded me of how long they drag out. Fun fun! | Add Comment |

| Today was a threshold run. I was contemplating doing this on the treadmill since it was 15 degrees out and snowy. I managed to find a loop (about 800 meters in length (actually 0.43 miles)) that seemed clear enough to run on. I warmed up for three miles then got going. I ran 26:44 for the whole run, and it felt pretty good. Similar to last week, I felt like the snow/ice definitely slowed me down (15 degrees did not help either :)). I think that had there been no ice and moderate temps. I would have ran 26:15ish. I did four 200 meter strides at the end and cooled down. Good workout! | Add Comment |
