I worked this all this morning, so I could not run early like usual. Feeling pretty tough I decided I was ready for a run in the 90 degree heat at 2pm. Whatever, no big deal. This mentality worked for about five miles until I was exhauted and soaked in sweat. After that I zoned out until the finish. When all was said and done, I pretty much layed down for an hour to fully recoup. I drank way more water than I knew the human body was even capable of intaking, and felt nice and terrible for quite a while. Lesson learned.; hot afternoon runs = bad. |
