An hour of aquajogging. I think this activity keeps me at least "primed" to begin running again (when my injury is healed). Obviously I will lose fitness, but I want to prepare myself to come back strong when I can run. I believe a lack of cross training would result in a longer, more drawn out introduction. I feel like I have forgotten how to run, too. It will feel weird to get back in the motions after a substancial detour, but I'm sure coordination will come back quickly.
*On another note - "NCAA Champ" - whew that sounds a little fast for me! Does this mean I have to win nationals? Otherwise, I don't know if I'm quite worthy of this title haha! |
