| | 11th-Shore Drive, I was going to do the 5-mile loop but had to get to a bathroom pronto about halfway through, so I did an abbreviated route. 22 minutes. Lazy weekend, I just had other things to take care of that took the place of running so I skipped a workout Saturday. | Add Comment |
| | Cool morning for a run on the 11th-Shore Drive loop, got the full route in this time. I ran a little faster pace on the way out and picked it up a bit the last mile. Just felt good I suppose. I wasn't pressing real hard, but could feel that I was putting forth a little more effort than usual. 34:52.

| | I had to run an errand this morning, so as long as I was taking the car out (I usually ride my bike to work) I figured I'd drive by the YMCA and run a bit. 5 on the treadmill, it was actually a nice change of pace even though it's a decent morning to run outside. It's kind of hypnotic to get in a zone on the treadmill, I covered up the displays for time and distance so I wasn't just focusing on when I'd be done. Anyway, my legs felt real fresh and just cruised right along. I'll probably head back outside tomorrow. 37:19. supernova -- 199.5 | Add Comment |
| | Lions Park-Tracyton Beach Road route short version, turned around at the 30 minute mark, part way up the hill to Essex Road. No Slug Club meeting today, I got into a little fender-bender last weekend so couldn't drive around to Port Orchard (that has helped me log some miles on my bike this week though!). I was really herky jerky today, couldn't get in any rhythm and just felt like I was slogging along. I started at a decent pace, 7:30 miles, but slowed to 8 on most of the second half of the run, and even that felt like pushing it. It was windy, which didn't help, but I'm not sure what it was slowing me down. Nothing feels broken and I wasn't up late or anything. Just one of those off days, I suppose. I think I need a good stretch. Time for some yard work in the rain, that lawn isn't going to mow itself.
