Morning run, a little cold but no rain so I went outside. The sun's coming out now. 11th-Shore Drive long loop, plus .5 up to Cascade Trail at the end to make it an even 5. Easy pace to start (7:35) and I gradually sped up until I was going at a good clip, probably around 7/min. 36:26 total, so around 7:15 pace overall. Legs felt good, rested from yesterday. Good way to start the week.

Five on the treadmill. Straightforward, cruised through, faster than I've ran indoors in awhile. I was all alone in the Y's little running room, much better to watch baseball highlights from Opening Day that way. 38:13.

Back on the blog today, just barely. Wednesday I didn't wake up sick, but felt a little tired for some reason so I decided to sleep in, planning to run in the evening. By the time I got out of work it was dark and I was worn out, so I skipped it. The next morning the crap that's going around the office hit (and since like 5 others are out with it, I couldn't take the day off) and I've been just dragging along for two days. To try and recuperate I skipped the slug club this morning and went for a slow 5-mile on the Warren Bridge-Manette Bridge loop. Felt fine in my legs, just real worn out and full of snot. I'll ease back into it, felt good to get out and sweat a bit. 40:06.
