4 on the Y treadmill. Nothing fancy, but at least it's consistent. I was a little slow getting going, left calf and hipflexor kind of stiff, but after the first mile I woke up and settled in to a 7:45 pace. 31:20

Better start whipping out the fancy stuff, eh? Don't you have a half-marathon to run soon? Tick-tock!

No half marathon in my future. Maybe the 10k next weekend in Mount Vernon, but I'm not sure about that either. But still, point taken.

I'm pretty certain about Newport Marathon in May though, some guys from my club might head down. Interested?

From Dale on Sat, Jan 10, 2009 at 15:58:49

Bah, I'm just giving you a hard time....I just finally got my motivation back within the past week.

Newport looks nice, but my wife and I are headed to Greece to visit her sister in May, so I'm running Yakima River Canyon in the beginning of April. Talk about tick-tock!

The Geoduck Gallop HM in Olympia is Feb 15th. Close and cheap ($26 DOR). It'd be good practice and I can always use a good pacer :).
