Great run! Great evening! The weather has been unbelievably perfect this week. I need to stay inside and get some stuff done, but I am having a hard time staying in when outside is so nice. The river is finally back in it's banks and there are tractors and semis everywhere. And when I go into Fargo there are runners everywhere. There are like 20,000 runners and walkers signed up for all the races. 5K and kids race Friday night. 10K, Relay, Half and Full on Saturday. Tara comes home tomorrow. She and Megan are running the 10K in memory of Megan's mom. They have t-shirts and both are getting a little nervous. This will be Tara's first road race. Jared and Kaylie have their bikes ready to go. They are the cheerleaders. Last year they biked 20 miles and we only ran 13. Ron and I are charity runners for TAPS and we are running in memory of a brave hero who died in 2003 in Falluja on his way home for some R&R. We are very honored. Now, if the weather just holds it looks to be a good day! |
