Another great spring day! Temp 65. I actually got hot today on the run. Not complaining. The dogs did 3 and it was a good thing they had water to splash in because it was to hot for them. We did an out and back, out and back. Water, water water. Several driveways are under water. You can tell if the resident is home if their car is at the end of the drive. If their boat, tractor or 4-wheeler is at the end, they aren't home.

Back outside for more yard work. Ron teases me every year, that from now until the end of September he will have to move the kitchen outside if he wants to eat.  So true.

Sounds like a nice run! Hope the water issues let up a bit soon though. We need to get going with our spring yard work as well, mostly cleaning up tree branches and cutting down trees that were infected with pine bark beetle last year. Unfortunately, the weekends have been pretty snowy and cold- so I haven't had the motivation to go out and deal with it yet. In general, I really enjoy yard work and cutting/chopping wood. Hope your week is going well!

Is it the pine bark beetle that has killed all the trees? I can't believe the trees that have died in CO! Whole mountainsides are that awful rust color. My bro is in Grand Lake and he said it is really bad up there. Scary for you all as dry as it has been. We to have to take down some trees. It is such a huge, messy job.
