Yesterday was one of those North Dakota days that 70 or 80 years ago would have probably killed people. Started out at 35 degrees in the morning, bright sunshine. Temp climbed to 45 by afternoon, still bright sunshine. By last night the temp dropped to 15 the wind was 50 mph and the snow was blinding. Could not see across the street. Fortunately with modern technology we knew it was coming. We were under a blizzard warning from 3pm yesterday until 6 this morning. Pretty much everything was cancelled and most people were all safely ensconced in their homes.

So I had to run on the treadmill. There just is not any place left to run except the highway. My usual route is drifted and snow covered, the bike path is covered and the truck route is icy and slippery. And the wind is not blowing 50, but blowing enough to put a nice icy chill in the air. I am so hoping this was winter's last hoorah. Weather dude said the temps this week will start the melt. Awesome. Our driveway is down to a lane and a half. There is no place left to put snow.
