45 mins on the stairmaster at the gym this afternoon. My sister just happened to be there at the same time so we commiserated (is that a word?) together on the machine from h---. I really wasn't planning on being on that machine for that long but we got to talking about stuff and things and before I knew it, it was 45 mins later. I wasn't going to do anything but because I worked a night shift last night I needed some sort of exercise to wake me up and help me function. Usually I run but I'm planning on doing a half marathon this weekend, so I decided to take it easy on the running.....Which brings me to my next talking point/question....Do you taper for a half? I never have because I'm usually using them as training runs for a marathon. I didn't run today and I'm only going to do 2-3 miles tomorrow, is that taper enough? Please, running people, enlighten me. |
