Personal:

Married with 2 lively boys. I love running and I love getting faster. Just trying to figure out how to balance life between being a mother, wife, part time nurse, and runner. :)

When I was in 6th grade I filled out a Getting to Know You sheet. Under nicknames I wrote, "My brothers call me Boo Legs, I think its because I run fast." (It really came from the movie, Strange Brew) And its been my family nickname ever since.

I fully intended on doing speedwork today but my legs, head, and overall body wasn't feeling it. Didn't get much sleep last night and decided to take an easier day. I'll add some faster miles to my long run tomorrow.

Smart move Natalie - you only get yourself into trouble when you "force" the speedwork. Tacking some fast miles onto your LR is a great idea.

Yep I agree with everything Jake said. Smart call on listenning to your body. Get some good rest tonight and you'll be ready to rumble in the morning. :)

Yep, I agree with what's been said. I'd add something though: you should do your speedwork at the 'butt crack of dawn' - with everybody chasing you, you'd fly.

Ditto. I saw a billboard the other day. "Speed Kills." It works on so many levels...
