A.M. 7 miles in 7:48 pace

Legs are pretty sore.  Went to see Richey for some ART this afternoon and he worked my left quad and achilles really deep first with Active Release Technique and then with his Graston tools.  Now I have all sorts of splotchy bruising all the way up my quad and on my lower calf.  Beauty.

P.M. 4 miles in 7:45 pace

Achilles is already starting to loosen up, but still sore.

Lifted weights and mixed in 3X10 pull ups, 3X20 push ups and 3X50 sit ups.

You are freakishly strong.

Sorry about the bruising, but at least it's for a good cause and not a reason to call the cops.

I'm figuring that you must have a pull-up bar at home. As amazed as I am at your running speed, I think it's your ability to do pull-ups that amazes me the most.

I was at my son's T-ball game last night and was chatting with Lindsey Dunkley (her son was on the opposing team). We were talking running and she said you guys ran together at BYU. Fun times!

you are looking for a good race on July 3? Then you should come to Cache Valley and run the blacksmith fork freedom run 15K. follows the TOU half course from hydroelectric park to the mouth of the canyon, then goes straight, up the hill, then down into Hyrum. a fast course and all the Cache valley bloggers will be there. lots of fun!

Carolyn-I do have a pull up bar at home which is nice for a quick anaerobic workout whenever I want, but its also nice to go to the gym and not be rushed or distracted.

Toby-Cool that you met Lindsey. I love that she is still just as fast in the 5k as she was when we ran together at BYU while I've kinda copped out and gone to longer distances. I've definitely lost some speed since that time.

Scott-I saw that one and it does actually look quite enticing...hmmm....

Sam-I've been slacking a bit on my pu-pu-su, but it felt good to get in a wider variety of lifts yesterday along with it.
