9 miles around Countryside 7:47 ave. pace.  Sunny 25 degrees.  Sidewalks were mostly clear but trails still have some drifted, crusty snow and ice.  Ran on the road for most of it.  Felt GREAT!  Aaron massaged my legs for me last night.  I'm going to foam roller them out some more this morning to make sure I get all that tightness out to avoid a knee seizing relapse.

So are you still having issues? Do you think it was that doo-hicky Aaron brought home from that house?

From Nan Kennard on Mon, Jan 04, 2010 at 12:43:58 from 174.51.250.151

I don't think it was the doo-hicky itself but rather my profuse pushing with the doo-hicky combined with an already extremely tight and partially weakened spot on my outer thigh/knee area which caused the tendons reaching down over my knee to scream and hollar. Don't wanna mess with those guys. They can really put up a stink. My knee is feeling better though; just a little tightness in my hips and ITs. Normal stuff. It looks like you've been feeling pretty good lately. No owies to report of? Good job on your tempo this morning.

No owies. I can't believe I felt so good this morning. Knock on wood. Was what I did really called a tempo run? Fartlek? Something else?

That's awesome that you're feeling so good. You are really lucky to have a husband who is a runner, particularly one who will massage your legs for you!

Glad the knee is feeling better; hoping it stays that way!
