10 miles in 7:48 pace

It was unusually hard to pull myself out of bed at 6 a.m. and it took me about 5 miles to warm up, but the good news is my achilles and quad are starting to feel better after all that work I had done on them yesterday.  Hopefully I can get a nap in today.

Way to get out early in the morning. Good luck with the nap.

Naps rock! If only they were a dialy occurence...glad things are feeling better. You have an awesome 10k PR coming up!

I'm so glad you are feeling better. I am so excited for your race! Your mile splits a couple days back were awesome.

The Provo Freedom Run 10K might be a good option for you. It's definitely not a fast course, but it would be nostalgic as you trudge up 9th East for the last mile. $300 for first place, plus some of the top runners in the area usually show: Kassi A, Julie T. etc

Hooray for naps! They make everyone happy!

Yeah unfortunately the nap didn't happen. My baby refused it, so I just played with her instead. Mel, the problem with the Provo Freedom Run is that its on Monday and we were planning on camping with Aaron's family Sunday-Wednesday. I think I've narrowed it down to either the 15K in Logan or the half marathon at the Capitol (both on the 3rd).
