7 miles very easy around Countryside.  8:30 pace

My calves and achilles were feeling a bit better this morning so I ventured out for some miles.  I wanted to be very aware of my form and tight spots, so I took the pace very conservatively.  Both achilles were pretty tight for about 3 miles and then slowly felt better.  I still had some mild tightness at the end, but it wasn't too bad.  Took a hot bath afterwards and stretched/massaged well.  Now I'm icing.

Aaron joined the blog this week!  Everyone go say Hi to him.

I already did. You know, Walter's wife Misty joined the blog to keep tabs on Walter. Hmmm.....

I'm glad you're feeling better. Are you going to want another hot bath after the ice? It just seems to cold for ice today. Of course, what do I know. I've been stuck in an office building all day.

Ha ha Burt thats funny LOL I get problems with my achilles I stand on a step before running now and do drop my heels down and then go into a a calf raise do it single leg, and 10 x 2 for each leg, it really strengthens the calf and stretches it too this really helps with the achilles

Great running today too :-)
