Tonight I ran 3.1 miles and never really got into the run. Every time that I tried to speed up my legs said no! So....I just took it easy and tried to enjoy the cool night air. A long day at work and then the wife has a wonderful dinner prepared just doesnt seem to do my speed work any good. I'll do better tomorrow.

I completely understand running and not getting into it. Sometimes I feel like I have to remind myself to go forward. Not fun. But how sweet that your wife had a wonderful dinner prepared for you. Don't tell my husband. He may get jealous. I'm a pretty lousy wife in that sense.

Thank you! :o) I'm definately working on the music. I have had a problem with my music at every race, so it will be a nice change of pace if it works Saturday.

Trying to find motivation after a great meal is definitely a challenge. Kudos for just getting out there as opposed to falling asleep on the couch!
