Ran 4.23 miles today. My last mile today was 6:46 / pace. Another new pr. I have been working on trying to increase the length of my strides and it seems to be easier for me to keep a fast pace with longer strides. We shall see.
My view on stride length is to focus on cadence first (get up to 85-90 strides/minute). That tends to be more efficient. Once you are there, definitely increasing stride length will make you faster.
