I would like to be able to keep up with my daughter. The one who runs xc, not the one who's going to change the world through dance. Although I would like to be able to dance also, so I change that to me wanting to be able to keep up with both my daughters.
Personal:
I have two gorgeous daughters; two good-looking cats and two dogs with great personalities.
7-year-olds are AWESOME. My daughter who is almost 7 said to me the other night (after getting in trouble), "Do you believe in mercy? No you don't. Mercy means you give people a second chance." Funny!
Kids say the darndest things. I was at the grocery store with the girls when they were much younger and Amanda wanted to whisper something to me. At the time we were trying to keep Amanda from leaving her younger sister out, so I told her she should say it in front of Maddy. She then said quite audibly as she pointed to a woman across the open freezer aisle, "That man has boobs."
A flak vest is body armor. Mine weighs about 18-19 lbs after taking off the attachments.
