Ha! I did it! I actually met my weekly mileage goal for the first time in several weeks. I'm a little tight and my foot is complaining, but other than that I held up okay. Having a running partner two days a week is really going to help my consistency. I'm feeling optimistic that this can happen again - even in the middle of the semester!
I just grabbed the paper log I was using before I joined the blog and I added my miles for the first part of the year. I'd forgotten how little I ran this winter and how far I've come since then. I didn't put comments on anything so there's no explanation for the random little 1 mile runs when I started running with my girls a few times a week in April and May. And there are a few 6 milers that come out of no where when my husband drug me out the door to do his favorite run with him. I love that I can do that run with him now and not die in the process. My only fear is that my running always drops off precipitously in the winter - I really want to keep it going this year!
