Running Accomplishments:

I've been running consistently for almost twenty years. I've done a couple of marathons. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016: At least 17 miles a week, 67 a month, 800 for the year

Sub 26:00 5K

Sub 55:00 10K

Sub 2:00 half (if I decide to do one this year :)

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run another marathon, maybe. Someday. If I feel like it.

Personal:

I love my husband and my four children and running lets me spend more time with them!

I took yesterday off to let my IT band settle down. I probably should have done some easy cross training though to loosen things up. We ran outside this morning. It was cold, but we took it easy. I had some tightness on the outside of both knees (especially the left), but no flare up. Yay!

Saw an incredible shooting star at the end of the run. It was so close we could see the rock with the flames coming off of it as it burned out over the high school. Breathtaking.

The only good thing about late start Wednesday is that Adam and I get to run together sometimes. We did the old Main Street, 200 North route with a detour back up 800 W since traffic was so awful on Center Street.

Indoor track while E was at dance. I think I'd better stay away from that place if at all possible - I can feel the outside of my knees again.
