Running Accomplishments:

I've been running consistently for almost twenty years. I've done a couple of marathons. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016: At least 17 miles a week, 67 a month, 800 for the year

Sub 26:00 5K

Sub 55:00 10K

Sub 2:00 half (if I decide to do one this year :)

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run another marathon, maybe. Someday. If I feel like it.

Personal:

I love my husband and my four children and running lets me spend more time with them!

Just updated my short term goals. I set a goal of 600 miles for last year and ended up with 744! I was shooting for 15 miles a week and 50 miles a month. Fortunately I was successful with the weekly mileage most of the time so I achieved my monthly and yearly goal with ease. I decided to be a little more ambitious this year so I'm shooting for 800 for the year. All I need to do is add a couple of miles a week. It's really hard to be consistent in these winter months, but I'm going to try.

Eric wanted to get up and do a few easy miles, so we went to the indoor track and he ran a couple with me (really easy miles for him, I picked it up a bit).

Totally didn't have time, so I ran a quick one outside just to get my goal for the week. Week one was a success. Just 51 more to go.

Also - I set a goal of 90 minutes a week of cross training (weights, aerobic, yoga etc..). I got 65 minutes in this week. It's a start....
